Princess Alice Hospice’s shop in Ashford High Street re-opened its doors last week.
The store had been closed for a period of maintenance, with the Esher-based charity’s retail team taking the opportunity to give it a new look.
Among those who attended the re-opening last Friday (April 20) were Vida Edwards, Daphne Leaders, Peggy Day and Enid Friesen.
They were there on the day the store first opened 22 years ago and are still regular volunteers.
They were joined by numerous other long standing volunteers and the deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Spelthorne.
Also at the event were Emily Cheshire, a community fundraiser at the hospice, and community Princess Alice nurse Emma Collard.
