Children from four primary schools in Elmbridge are set to take part in a Suburban Hockey summer day camp.

The camp will take place at Surbiton Hockey Club, in Sugden Road, Long Ditton, from 10am to 3pm tomorrow (Wednesday).

It is open to those who have taken part in some free hockey coaching at their school, courtesy of Suburban Hockey.

The camp will give young people the opportunity to practice what they have learnt during their school sessions.

It will involve a mix of coaching, demonstrations, games and a hockey tournament with lots of prizes up for grabs.

Suburban Hockey is a registered charity, which was set up by some members of Surbiton Hockey Club.

It aims to deliver a programme of free coaching to young people aged from eight to 13 years old in primary and secondary schools.
