People are being offered the chance to take a peek at the history of Esher Commons.
Dave Page, Elmbridge Borough Council’s countryside estates officer, will present a lecture on the subject next Friday (February 3).
The illustrated talk will cover aspects of the natural and social history of the commons and countryside around Esher and how much they have changed over time.
The event, part of the popular Royston Pike lecture series, will take place at Mole Hall in Bishop Fox Way, West Molesey, from 8pm.
Tickets are priced at £1.90 and available at the door.
