Walton & Hersham have added a new striker to their squad, it has been announced.

Greg Andrews has joined the Swans on an initial one-month loan from Ryman League Premier Division outfit Leatherhead.

Andrews was the Tanners’ leading scorer last season as they won promotion from Ryman League Division 1 South.

“He is a player I have been tracking for a while and will bring quality to the squad,” said Walton & Hersham manager chuck Martini.

In other news, schoolchildren in Year 1 and Year 2 are being invited to train with the Swans’ professional Mini Cygnet coaches.

Walton & Hersham are looking to form mini football teams for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

Hour-long training sessions will be held at Ashley Church of England Primary School in Ashley Road, Walton.
